I have to put this episode up there with some of the best TWD episodes to date...powerhouse performance from Melissa McBride and both child actors, gut wrenching and brutal story, and just generally moving, emotional television.

Lizzie was a ticking time bomb and lethal to have around, whether she killed you herself or lured in more walkers to feed/play with, she was dangerous and had to be put down. Carol's arc in this show has been amazing and she has developed into one of my favorite characters. I'm fascinated to see how an eventual reunion with Rick goes considering how she has been a huge part of Judith's survival despite is concerns about having her around his family.

Tyreese's forgiving Carol was yet another intense moment and one which I have to feel was benefitted by him watching Carol "do what needed to be done" to Lizzie. He at least could see where Carol's motivation lied and the fact that she not only killed Karen and David in a way that they didn't suffer, but that she owed up to the act and confessed to him had to earn her some respect.

Here's hoping the next two episodes are equally outstanding.

I was thinking to myself that crazy Lizzie could make a great Ellie from TLOU. lol

Great episode. Gut wrenching to watch Carol do what needed to be done. The confession scene was intense as well.

Great and heartwrenching ep last night and left me as shocked as the mid season finale.

Carol is quickly becoming a favorite character of mine this season. She did what was necessary reguarding Lizzy. To be honest imo it was probably more merciful that way anyways. If they had let Lizzy live she posed to much of a threat to the others especially Judith and even if she could be rehabilitated and allowed to live a quick shot to the head is a lot easier way to go than being torn apart by walkers or captured by a group like Daryl's new "buddies". Neither Lizzy or Mika had what it takes to surive very long in a post apocalptic world (one couldnt kill humans the other saw walkers as pets) and if Ty or Carol were to bite it (or get bit) both girls would have been easy prey for walkers or humans all alone and that is a much more cruel fate for those who cant adapt to that type of world.

Carol has become an Angel Of Death. Unfortunately in TWD world, a necessary task. Someone has to do the "dirty work", especially since Merle is gone.

Put him on my ignore list. Shouldn't be an issue again.

Really awesome episode. It took some balls to kill a kid like that. I've not read the comics so I didn't see that coming but it was a well done episode.

I'm rewatching season 1, the walkers act so differently. They climb, rest, act more human. As with the walkers now, they are more zombie like. I wonder if this was deliberate? The more time goes by, the more the walkers are slower, dumber.
