i've been a cat owner (but currently have a dog). I see alot of people who are cat exclusive and it irritates me that they are held on a pedestal of " cool ". But then i remind myself that a lot of websites i visit people arent always in the same situation i am and they maybe dont have the room or ability to look after a hulking beast of a dog. I do however think dogs are alot more worthwhile. Where as feeding a cat then watching it walk out the window and come back 12 hrs later isnt.
I love both cats & dogs equally (well, cats rank a bit higher in my books) and both make good pets. Cats are fussy yes, and the attitude and selfish characteristics they carry may not appeal to everyone. That said I have neither since I'm allergic to them and my Mum is asthmatic although she loves them too! Someday......
