Brock looked pretty bad when he was left alone to talk at the end. I think he's regressed since his earlier stint in the WWE, and he wasn't exactly a master on the microphone back then.

I don't know what the hell's supposed to be going on with Cena. When Brock first showed up, Cena was supposedly hyped up about it, and said he enjoyed getting punched, etc. Now he looks like a sad puppy for some reason.

I'm a bit confused. I only missed a week, but when did Cena get so "depressed" that he needed a pep talk from Edge? Where's this losing streak? Hasn't he only wrestled the match against A-train (who cheated with green mist) since Wrestlemania?

There was that and the irony in Brock saying he hates idiots but couldn't, for the life of him, remember his ____ing lines.

Yup. Cena's a bad actor for a wrestler. That's like lower than low.

As for Brock, you're absolutely right. It's even more glaring given the shots for his intro look like pre-UFC.

I think they're trying to hurry through this storyline for Extreme Rules. Unfortunately, not allowing enough build-up just makes it a real, WTF?! Edge's pep talk made zero sense.

That's the problem when you have no serious competition. WWE doesn't mind mediocrity in some areas because there are no real consequences to it. And frankly, when you compare some of the WWE storylines and speeches with those of TNA, Lesnar's diatribe last night sounds downright Shakespearean.

Depends, some stuff can be stupid but some stuff can be really clever and well-planned.

Like with the end of the Beth-Brie match last night. The Bella twins are leaving, Kharma is returning - Bella twins had a feud with Kharma a year ago and Kharma vowed to return and crush them. Now this way Kharma can return, "retire" The bellas from WWE and she gets the title without needing to defeat Beth so we can build up to a big return match with Beth vs Kharma when she is 100%. 3 Bird's with one stone. Well, that is what i think they will do. It is what i would do.

I thought Glamazon's injury looked legit. If it wasn't, then she's better at selling injuries than 95% of the men wrestlers I've seen, anyway. I thought that might not have been the intentional ending to the match, but necessary because of the ankle injury. Knowing the Bellas are supposed to be leaving, I thought the title change was odd myself, but your idea makes sense if it was the plan all along and plays out.

I knew where they were going, but despite that, they actually had me for a minute when the cops had left the ring. I was thinking--is WWE creative this stupid? I did think it was funny that when Punk was supposed to be doing the alphabet backwards correctly, he still screwed up at one point

Yup, but honestly, I never understood that. Have a buddy who's a cop and he couldn't pass a field sobriety test sober. He blamed the alphabet test mistakes on the fact that, as Punk said, nobody ever says it backwards, his inability to walk a straight line on his gut and duty belt throwing off his balance, and his inability to touch his nose with his head back and eyes closed as, and I quote, "too disorienting. It completely throws off your equilibrium." Yet I can't imagine how many times this method has been used in the past to arrest suspected DUIs.
