In 10 years I've never had a problem with a mod. One time Dave told me to knock it off when I was being a d-bag fanning the flames on a newb slapfight.

I also happen to like most of the people I see complaining about the mods.

My question is: do you guys really see nothing wrong with the posts you're making or observing that get deleted, or are you just venting because they got deleted?

For me, the ones that were deleted weren't offensive at all. One post was even asking if a poster was ok, based on their behavior. It was a genuine post, no malice what-so-ever. I have never had a problem if a post was deleted due to it being deserved, but lately it's been a head scratcher.

It's bizarre lately. I welcome all the new members (which most mods/members don't do), never been banned, never even had an infraction, and have rarely had a post deleted. I've gone out of my way the last two years at SDCC to take pics for the forum and gotten exclusives for members at cost. Not to mention spent a couple thousand dollars on giveaways for members during Spook and another small fortune supporting custom makers here. Lately I feel like I have a target on my back--though it won't be explained to me which of my actions on this board would warrant it.

I'll vouch that you really have made this place an excellent experience for me Zod. You were the first one to welcome me, you definitely have come though for SDCC exclusives, and are always super generous (spooktacular is really a fun time because of you and others). You don't deserve to be seen negatively.

I think there just needs to be some time taken to clear the air. I know there's some lack of communication here and some longtime members that are frustrated. Let's just hang for a bit.

Agreed with Zod, he's one of the most reliable people on this board. He was in a Terminator commission with me and Ryan Pliskin several months ago and always offered to help out, when we were facing some bumps along the road. I know he helped out FSLAR and Snake Plisskin with some SDCC items as well.

GeneralZod did nothing wrong, ever. By far one of the best users on here and great to speak to/be around :hi5: And yes Solidus, he did help me out last year and tried again this year (though I have no income atm so I had to decline). Not sure why anyone would target him

All hail Lord Zod!

Hm. Well I hope this gets sorted. I think the mods are mostly good peeps but the frustration runs both ways.

Also, I have had harmless posts deleted when a mod cleans a thread due to some other mess. Friendly fire.

So I was part of a cyberbully club? I guess I can check that off the bucket list.

SPGC gets blamed for everything under the sun. Funny thing is, others who weren't part of the group were making comments about the uncontrolled influx of threads from a particular member, too (and they were doing it in other discussions away from the Sandbox). Something like that gets noticed, and people talk about it...

I'd hope Dave considers taking a second look at things, but not sure if he's even interested. It was a fun ride while it lasted. And no, we weren't cyberbullies. There were a bunch of snarky comments (as there usually is on SSF), but there certainly wasn't any bullying.

Zod is an awesome guy and a pleasure to work with. I wished more people had his personality and principles.

Zod doesn't take any **** (which I love) but he's a genuine guy and went out of his way at SDCC taking hundreds of photos for this place and was kind enough to get me an exclusive the past two cons when he didn't have to.

You're one of the good guys Zod. You've contributed across mulptiple threads and helped alot of people out.

The rise of social media has deffo changed the way online forums run now. It won't be long before # and like/reaction buttons are developed for internet forums.

I hate that anything like this even needs to be brought up on a toy forum and that the people in charge don't communicate with members. I appreciate all the kind words though.

I hate that the Groot & Rocket doll thread doesn't have the original title I gave it.

Wonder if I can delete the thread. :monkey3
