I'll add that I hate how I seem to need to sneeze at really inopportune times such as when a customer has just asked me a question - and I'm there with the sneeze face and their eyes on me, waiting. I could have been twiddling my thumbs doing nothing for 10 minutes beforehand, but no, now I need to sneeze.

You can't just pay it online? Why do you guys write so many checks? I haven't seen a check (cheque) book in years.
I had already sent the payment back in or I would've just given the lady the check number, etc.
I won't do online payments simply because my checking and my savings accounts are in two different banks and no one gets my saving numbers. I only get paid twice a month now and I'm on stretch pay (which direct deposits into my checking), so I have to watch how much is taken out of it at a time. I have more control this way. Other than for bills, I pretty much use credit cards (then pay the bill with a check).

That sounds a lot like my banking (minus the checks). I've had to be really careful with money since my wife lost her job nearly two years back. It's boring and kind of stressful.
