This piece of **** on eBay, who listed an item as "new" while the Hot Toys sticker looks like it was definitely tampered with. His rationale it "it's never been opened or removed" and he's thinking that's enough to warrant it listed as such. It's his word against Hot Toys, but in all the years of buying from them I've never gotten something directly from SSC that had a seal that looked like that. I mailed it back to him and he's saying I "damaged" it. I mailed it back in the same condition I received it in, and now he's blackmailing me to leave him positive feedback to get my refund. **** that, I'm not going to placate this prick. I'm going to give eBay a call on my lunch. Worst comes to worst I can just escalate it to them on October 12th if need be according to the return page.

He said "you should of asked about the seal." If it's listed as new, it should go without saying...

It may come off as picky, but I went into this thinking it was a figure that wasn't previously opened or ****ed with. I hate having to return ****. He also turned around and listed it as new again.

Well it's possible it many not have been removed. I've received stuff from SS that the tape was like that or no tape at all.

As for the return dealing, eBay screws all the sellers, so by default they will side with you for the refund. But do not leave feedback yet, a positive feedback will tell eBay that you were happy with the transaction.
