Things I F#$%ing Hate: The Cinedigm logo at the beginning of EVERY film at my nearest movie theatre. It's the king of ear ****; it's worse than THX.

Just cover your ears then

I guess you've never been to a Cinedigm theatre. What do you think my first natural reaction is? I put both thumbs in both ears and you can still hear the headache-inducing sound. It should be illegal. I'm guessing the movie theatres are in cahoots with the hearing aid companies.

Pugs. They have such bad health issues and they look so weird. Such a misfit creature.

My brother has a pug and they had to get their kid corrective glasses because he's at eye level with the dog and they spend a lot of time together. That much eye contact at that close range and it's gonna happen.

I take back my last posts here. The Cinedigm logo isn't actually that bad - it's DLP Cinema. In video it's fine, but at an actual movie theatre it's worse than THX.

It has a place, but it lost all meaning when the snowflakes started using it. Now I cringe whenever I seen it used, especially when it's completely out of context.

This is why I don't even bother with Facebook anymore.

Showcase Cinemas has that really annoying refreshments commercial with the close up of the ice being put into the cup then the soft drink then the straw then the person drinks it.

Makes me just want to stop going to the damn theater.

Well that and the anxiety of crazies with guns.

During WW the guy 2 rows back just kept repeating "i'm going to die" over and over and over.

I was ready to help him.

Oh and an Imax showing is now $27 for 1 ticket in Manhattan lol

Disturbing/annoying ads in general are making me want to just stop going to the theatre altogether. My local theatre had this pretty unsettling non-smoking ad with the Big Bad Wolf. I'm all for non-smoking ads, but that one in particular sent the wrong message IMO.

What message did it send?
