In the clear now. Actually, I worry about heavy rain more than I do tornados. Having a basement, it's always bad to get several inches of rain after having rain on and off for days before it. Tornados I don't worry that much about. They tend to go around us. My ancestors didn't move to this area for nothing. They knew this was a pretty safe area. Several cities in the area were hit. And they're still having warnings in other areas away from us.

You think you're safe from tornadoes? WOW!!! You're probably lucky.

I haven't heard much of anything about that nutcase in Texas. So sad.

Yeah just a bad situation all around. Neither side of politics will like it but there will be profiling and mental requirements for guns in next 15 years.

It will only get worse. You know this.

Most people are like stagnant, dirty water. They can't change and can only accept the status quo. They don't have any vision, no matter the impossible.

The extreme obviousness of the political correctness diversity machine in Hollywood these days....

Kong Skull Island was like a United Nations cast....

The new Thor was like that too. I get including different people but the Nordic people are a fairly particular type of person.
I'd make the same complaint if they threw in a bunch of Irishmen into Black Panther

Yea strange that film seemed to avoided the needed inclusion factor....

It’s just an obvious “try hard” situation. It takes me out of a film very quickly.

I mean , in Kong, it would have been fun to make it all Black and white People considering the Vietnam era thing. But producers are very keen to make sure they add at least a token Asian person these days.....for that market...
How about Native Peoples? They always get skipped.....

I’m surprised women weren’t flipping out that there wasn’t a female Howling Commando character. I suppose Peggy filled that role somewhat though.

She was example of a great character because they didn't she horn her in. I was sad they cancelled the tv show

I agree. I love her character and hate that they cancelled the show. However, if you listened to the hype from the Wonder Woman film fans, you'd know that there has never been a strong female character ever in the history of television or film--EVER.
