I'd love to collect only LOTR, but I like ALL the things :lol

That's me. I have cut back some though.

I just wish I had all the money back that I spent for action figures and Star Trek stuff that I have packed in boxes downstairs. Not to mention the horde of beanie babies I have. UGH!

Correct sirs!

I hate when : Do you guys ever get buyer remorse? Sometimes I wonder why I bought some Premium Formats or Hot Toy figures when I don't really need them. I sometimes wake up and think FFS why did I buy all those Avengers figures, I liked the movie but it wasn't that great. Then I think about selling them all and after a few days that goes away and I decide to keep them.
Yeah definitely. About a year ago I just realized, Why Am I buying things? all these things I don't need. Sometimes I look at my collection and go, Why the hell did I ever buy this one? wtf was I thinking???
I've got a limited amount of space to display stuff, and because of that (plus the money being better spent on renos for the house and making room in advance, if you will, for stuff not yet announced but which almost certainly will be, e.g., Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper), I just cancelled $2500.00 in pre-orders (1 custom, Hoth Luke, Hoth Han, Tauntaun, Asmus Ringwraith on Steed and extra Ringwraith). Plus I plan to sell my Witch King figure sometime and make $200.00 back there, too (love the figure, but LotR is just too deep a line for me to get into). Felt really good to tighten the focus and decide to pass on some stuff that I wanted but ultimately could live without.

Sideshow and other companies have strategic planning on selling items, this whole Flex Pay is the best thing they ever thought of it caught me hook , line and sinker! Also showing stuff way before its out makes people panic thinking it going to sell out before it comes out and lets not forget the prototype paint job and expert lighting on all figures ( cough....Nathan Drake), so I figure there are a bunch of research geniuses figuring out a way to squeeze every penny out of my coal mine bum...... Hazzah to them I guess, when I am divorced and homeless:slap

I think we all go through that at one time or another, that's why some on these boards buy and sell all the time. I recently decided to sell off all my PFs except for my LotR ones. So goodbye Indy and Arnold!

I sometimes think about selling off everything but LotR and Hobbit things, then I order something else. :lol
