Well to be fair Ween.. it IS called Lake Erie.

:lol

I love how Facebook has exploded with this story and the conspiracy people are out in force.

Let's see.....who's to blame:

Obama had this done because Ohio's Governor refused to take illegals (this one is my favorite)

The government putting it in our water to get rid of sick people

The Illuminati

Russians saying it's because we make fun of them in our media

George Bush for gutting the clean water act

Obama because........well......he's Obama

"Their" (I have no idea who) goal is killing 1 billion people per year.

Fracking

Eco-Terrorists

Toledo is jealous that Cleveland at one time had Lake Erie on fire so they decided to turn their end of Lake Erie into toxic sludge.

and so on and so on. :lol

there might be some truth in all that fiction, :lol

Nah......

"Why is this happening? The Algae Bloom was likely caused by industrial or agricultural runoff. Nitrates, such as fertilizer, can create a fertile soup that causes algae blooms. Global warming and the resulting higher temperature has been proven to increase the reproductive rate of cyanotoxin producing algae."

It also doesn't help that lake Erie is the shallowest and warmest of the lakes.

I have no problem with illegals as long as they are working to became legal and pay taxes. We all at one point we foreigners and a lot of these escaping into our country are leaving horrible areas. I grew up in Orange County California and have always been surrounded by almost every ethnicity possible. I have worked in Mexico and other counties and I can see why people flock here, but they NEED to help contribute to the taxes and upkeep of the nation.

Wow, guys i'm from the UK and this is the first ive heard of this!
How long have they been instructing to stay off the water?

I hear even boiling the water does an adverse reaction and makes it even more poisonous, its some kind of natural bacteria, sounds like horse **** to me ! Viva La France!

It's not horse****, actually they think it's boiling down to someone not doing their job, or doing it properly at the water dept.

Algae blooms happen all over the world when the conditions are right. There's no conspiracy or anything.

you were talking about the Atlanta patient starting the zombie apocalypse and it looks like it will end up starting in Ohio :lol:lol:lol

:yess: We're the new Terminus......

I followed the link, then got properly freaked out by that "Lady in Black".

I hate that people are posting urban myths on Facebook that I used to receive in emails back in the 90s. And of course they believe them. :lol

rogers-300x299.jpg

Fred Rogers and his classic children’s show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood were legendary in the TV world, so it was only a matter of time before a few scandalous rumors started floating around about him. Probably the most popular and downright ridiculous was the legend that claimed Rogers was a Navy Seal during the Vietnam War, and that he had numerous confirmed kills as a sniper. This same rumor often asserted that the only reason Rogers wore sweaters was to cover up all the tattoos he had gotten during his time in the service. Both tales are completely untrue, but this is one urban legend that refuses to die, and it is often applied to other clean-cut, wholesome celebrities, most notably John Denver

This abomination of a teeny-bopper emo singer called "Lorde". It made an ear-bleeding cover of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" (which was originally composed by Tears for Fears).
