I had a good friend who is a Navajo. He escaped the alcoholism of his res to become a homeless alcoholic on the streets of SLC.
Unfortunately they know no other way, on the res they are encouraged to do nothing and to just collect a check. They even bully and ridicule students that try and better themselves. I don't understand why we as tax payers and the Government continue to just hand Native Americans money, to be honest they are POWS, but yet we keep them uneducated, drunk and on government support, if anything we should be trying to blend them into our society .
I hate U2's free album. I had low expactations but since it was free I figured "what the hell" and gave it a listen.
It sucked.

Add to that, that every generation is told that they are "owed" everything from the government because of how their ancestors were treated. I should know, I have relatives who feel that way. I'm glad my grandparents and my father didn't feel this way. I was brought up that no one owes you anything and you make your own way and are responsible for you own life.
I could go on and on, but I won't.

Do you mean the odd pimple here and there, or actual acne? I had a few outbreaks into my 20s, it sucked. Perversely, at 42 I don't get pimples very often anymore and when I do it makes me feel young again to get stuck into them in front of the bathroom mirror.
Here and there, but here and there pretty consistently. I rarely don't have a spot somewhere on my face. I always have them on my back and chest.
And since I turned 32 in August they've been relentless on either side of my nose. I dunno WTF.
