we all deserve apologies. every one of us. obviously I have nothing against ween, but then again everyone has made jokes about everyone.
If I had a dollar for every time someone made a rude or gross joke about me (not to me) i would have enough money to buy a new Iphone

I understand why she felt bad about it, but what about guys like Nova or Riddick or even people that have been banned and the awful jokes some old timers make?
the fact that if you are new you will be trashed for it?

how many rude joke comments have been made about the snake thread?
calling us trolls and basement dwellers (and worse) behind our backs?

If there was one thing I got from this forum that I learned was to not let those kind of jokes made me feel bad.

my point is not even to say that kind of behavior should be fully accepted, but, isn't that something many of us do?
dumb jokes about other members? seriously don't i deserve an apology from some of you guys? for years of forum abuse? shouldn't riddick deserve an apology? Eli for being told to STFU?

You completely miss the point. A joke was made about another member where that member was not present to be able to either participate in the joke, or defend herself. Then she called the offender out on it, and got nothing but dismissive and defensive responses in return.

I know I've been guilty of making snide remarks about other members, but when I get called out for posts that clearly cross the line of acceptable or reasonable behaviour, I apologise. Except in those cases where I have little or zero respect for the person whom I've offended.

Is Ween that person to any of that thread's regulars? Someone for whom you have zero respect?
