after working 8 years for a company they are downsizing and getting rid of my job. bummer way to start March. back to job hunting

i think so. 2 weeks ago i was told I was on the fast track to a promotion, this week Im told they are downsizing. talk about sand bagged.

I hate when stuff like that happens. Good luck with the job hunting! Hopefully you'll find one better and that pays more.

u'll be alright, 8 yrs is a long time now a days. easy to find another job, they knowing u can be loyal. Mr. Green usually managed no more than 2 yrs at most. Company was just acquired by a much larger company. we'll see how long he stays, hehe. They say everyone's job is safe. Lots of growth. so Mr. Green gonna grow thinner or fatter any time now
