Re: Things That Are Scary

About 6 or so I was staying at my grandparents. Woke up during the night and went into the kitchen to get a drink. As I approached the kitchen I could see this blue greenish glow, but it wasn't coming from anything. Proceeded to the fridge and as I closed it, there in center of the kitchen was a glowing pair of jeans. They had form like someone was wearing them. I left the kitchen and these jeans followed walking. I then hurried to my grandparents room and jumped into the middle of them in bed. The pants came into the room and then just disappeared like they were sucked into the floor. I told everyone about it in the morning but it was passed off as a dream, which it wasn't. I can recall every detail of it today.

Second was a few years. I work the grave shift at a FAA facility and was working alone. They have these sensors that turn off the hallways and bathroom lights when they are not being used. Well one night I go to the bathroom and when you enter it like a second later the light comes on from the sensor. Across from the door there are 3 toilet stalls with doors on them. Well when I entered, the light came on and I swear I saw a pair of feet in the middle stall raise up. They were shiny black shoes and had black slacks on. But once in the room, you could tell no one was in there.

After that happened I messaged one of my co-workers that was at another facility about what I saw. He said at theirs they have a coughing ghost. There would be times you would be in the john or breakroom and distinctly hear someone coughing but no one else is there.

That all said, no, I don't think there are such things as ghosts in the general sense.

When I was 16, I saw a full body apparition of a naked, brown corpse in my parents' living room. It appeared rotting and was just sitting there on the couch. I screamed and ran to my mom's room. It was the first time I ever ran to my mom in my entire life, and I'll never forget it. Aside from that, my parents and I always heard strange footsteps around the apartment and fingernail tappings on the walls, table, and floor that would tap back if you tried tapping yourself. But, after the "corpse" incident, my parents had enough. They prayed over the entire apartment and we never experienced anything again.

There are a few more paranormal incidents I can recall, one in particular, which almost killed my parents and me when I was four-years-old...

Re: Things That Are Scary

If there are ghosts, why is it always vague things they do? How about one comes out and says "yo don't be scared, I'm a ghost bruh."

Where's the dinosaur ghosts at? How about ghosts of single cell organisms?

You die, your worm food. There's no cosmic reward for anyone at death.

I read once somewhere that it takes a lot of energy to manifest themselves visually let alone speak.

Unless the author was a real-live ghost or demon, I'd take whatever was written with a grain of salt.

How do you guys explain the white noise recordings?

Those ARE real, even if there are no ghosts
I heard one myself before. Empty room, house was a farm away from the city. There was definite whispering. A definite voice.

Again, that could always be sound that travels around, but it I creepy

Bjorn: Ay, Sven, what's that frightening light and sound coming from the sky?
Sven: I have no explanation for it. I do not understand atmospheric convection or electric potential at all.
Bjorn: Just what I thought. Must be an angry GOD.
Sven: sounds legit. Let's sacrifice your daughter to make it stop.

Re: Things That Are Scary

I like to keep an open mind on these things with a healthy degree of skepticism.

Re: Things That Are Scary

Not a lot of evidence out there. One would have to be fortunate or unfortunate to experience such things.

11 Scariest REAL Ghost Photos - Dread Central

none of these have been altered or manipulated

It's on the internet, so it must be true. Creepy images, but pictures have been faked since they were invented.

As for ghost, energy or whatever. I watched a movie on 'flix called The Diabolical. It was interesting that this family though they were being haunted by ghosts or demons. It turns out..
that what they are seeing are convicts from the future that were being tested on for teleportation. They were actually being sent back in time to this house instead of a facility that existed on the same site in the future.

Re: Things That Are Scary

Yea they all can be faked.

And anything related to Amityville we know is fake.

Re: Things That Are Scary

I think the "scary" things, are the ones that don't have a rational explanation. What's worse, is if you experience something yourself and no one believes you. That's why it's always nice to have confirmation from others, so everyone can be collectively crazy and wonder what the **** just happened.

One thing to consider, is that the observable universe only accounts for one-quarter of the total amount of mass in the entire universe (the rest is comprised of dark matter). And then, there's the existence of extra-dimensions, too. So, who knows what's out there in the paranormal.
