That's funny, I was just watching these clips just yesterday.

I really wish there was more footage of him out there training and doing demonstrations.

Man, I was watching them all day today :lol. Bruce was such a genius at Martial Arts - unparalleled in skill and mental quickness, it's insane. He's probably the one person who came closest to being a superhero.

IIRC he said that a bigger muscle isn't necessarily a stronger muscle. I think he proved that. He was a tiny man, but he had such a mastery of using his whole body for strikes that he hit like a heavyweight and his speed was unparalleled. I really wish he could of hist a target hooked up to a computer to see how much force he had. I think he broke quite a few punching bags with kicks.

Lots of people say he inspired MMA, and that's somewhat true I'd say. Jeet Kune Do was designed to be able to take on any style. Bruce probably wouldn't care for it since it has rules. His stance was to do anything to win, even biting.

I read some of his Tao of JKD, it's really brilliant. I took Tang Soo Do as a kid and JKD seemed to be about trimming useless fat of rehearsed styles. To make it simplistic, yet effective.

Just noticing how many Ebay sellers categorize their items as NEW, followed by a description like, "displayed for __ weeks in a glass cabinet..." :lol

Hey man. Those IKEA cabinets are air tight! Displaying them in one of those, they might as well be new and sealed!!! :lol

Pfft. Hogan would hit him with the big boot, drop the leg and get the 3 count.

Look up the Ultimate fighter Gracie... he's like 5'6" and took out guys Hogan's size on a regular basis.
