End of an era... the last person to have a recorded birth date in the 19th century has died. 5 March 1898.

Errr, what does it mean when I seem to have access to Sideshowfreaks and yet nothing else on the internet at all? That strikes me as kind of bizarre.

Yeah seriously no other internet page is working for me right now, only SSF. How the hell can that be? And this is only in the last half an hour. WTF.

I can't see that ^

I'm being seriously trolled here by my computer.

I was having a similar problem with my old router, it wouldn't let me open certain sites. Like photobucket. So any pics here hosted by photobucket I never saw. I never could figure out what the problem was, I went and bought another router instead. Speaking of which, have you rebooted your router?

Just tried that. No change. Everything gone except SSF. I don't get it, if there's an internet connection problem how do I still have SSF? How am I posting right now?

If you look outside do you get the usual view, or has it transformed into rows of shelves and action figures?

It's a place you can see if you uncover your windows. Look around the room - do you see fabric hanging from the wall? There could well be a window behind it.

No fabric. I see something that is different from the other walls. A series of thin white horizontal panels with string running down through them. I think something would happen if I pulled on this string but I have figures in front of it, I don't want to disturb them.

If you have a smartphone, it's not just a browser - you can use it to connect to another telephone and speak directly with the user of that telephone. You'll need phone numbers though. If you don't have any of these, you can dial the number for emergency services. In Australia it's 000, not sure what it is in Ireland. When you're connected, tell them that you can only access an action figure forum on the internet and they should send somebody around to sort you out.

It's cool when a piece of portable technology incorporates a cool retro feature like the ability to make phone calls. Makes me feel like a hipster when I take a break from Internet surfing to use it.

Thanks Lejuan. I ended up watching a film and then going to bed. And today, everything is back to normal for some reason. Very strange incident.
