That is close to what I paid for Wolverine vs Sabretooth, Hulk vs Spidey, and this piece, and I thought that was a little high. Looks like it turned out okay in the end though cause I know have all of the exclusives. Looks like it was not such a bad decision to get all of them at the same time.

i think the piece is awesome looking but i just didn't care for the Astonishing arc that much. hate Cat Beast. also wish SS woulda let people know this was to be part of a 3 part "dio" from the beginning. mighta picked it up then just for the great way it looks and the "fit them together" thing.

I've never seen the statue in person so I can only go on the pics everyone has provided since this has been released. It easy to see that this is a really really awesome statue. But, unless the x-men were near and dear to my heart I would sell in a heart beat if I bought this anywhere near retail. The money that you could profit off of that could buy you a nice cinemaquette sparrow, indy, alien or a SS predator maquette. Obviously to each their own and people will collect and go after what they like and enjoy the most. But there are alot of jaw dropping pieces out there you could all of a sudden afford if you wanted.
