Yeah a lot of people complain about this hobby ....that are not into it. My father in law is one along with two friends of mine that criticize the hobby ..... All of them collect something else. My father in law collects old toys ...... Old toys from the 1900's-50's spending $500-1000 on old Tonka trucks etc but he justifies himself by saying he can resell them (yet says these statues are like beanie babys he says. they won't be worth anything in a few year LOLOLOL). My two work buddies have gun collections of 12-15 guns at well over $1000-2000 a piece yet this hobby is too expensive. To each their own ......

If you're worried about value in years to come that's not called collecting... That's investing.

Very Very true .... I love collecting these as the only time I will sell them is to buy a version I like better or a newer version of a statue I already own. I will go down into my man cave and turn all all my light just to look at these statues a few times a week. I genuinely love the hobby!

Hold up....that's not even half of my PO's Stevo :horror I couldn't fit in the rest! :thud: :lol

Ha the only other thing I've got which isn't in my Sig is a Red Skull which I'm on the wait-list for. I think I left that too late though

But I love this hobby. I actually thought about quitting not long ago, well I did for a short while but I missed it. Everyone has there own hobbies & interests. My father-in-law collects coins & sometimes spends 1000's on one. Even though it's not my thing at all, I show interest in it & he does like wise with my hobby. That's how it should be, I hate it when someone says how can so & so waist all that money on something there not interested in & then go & spend crazy money on there hobby.

The collector in me when it comes to these or comics feels exactly the same way. Often when I get a comic signed I hardly ever get it graded then get told "Oh it wont be worth much down the road then". I collect these for the love of it not the investment 15 years down the road. If the item just so happens to be worth a lot later thats great but I dont see myself selling stuff for profit unless I absolutely have to.
