I have to agree. The sword is a useless EX. I wouldn't even consider displaying it. I can't believe it but SSC has forced my hand it seems. Between the useless EX and the ridiculous $40 price increase, I may just pick up a REG from an online retailer at a discount. If I really didn't like the piece overall as a REG, I would have just passed all around. These price increases just make me scratch my head and ask...WTF? It seems with every new release there is a new price increase. I'm having a real hard time swallowing the fact that SSC is charging $40 more for Thor than they did for the Bats and Supes PFs.

I'm in no hurry now. I'm passing on ALL of the Hulk PFs, and I could care less if the EX sells out on Thor. I may even wait to see in hand pics before I make a final decision on Thor. With the price increases and lackluster EX on this piece (along with the disappointing green Hulk PF), I have no excitement over the last 2 Marvel releases. I can only hope SSC can get its pricing under control somehow and starts offering relevant EXs again. Hell, even a print would have been better than the sword IMO.

Sideshow's prices are now beyond ridiculous in my opinion. I really think that $400 is steep enough for a PF, but at $440 I'm calling it quits with Sideshow. Its pretty clear to me that Sideshow needs to be sent a message that enough is enough with these price hikes, and I see I'm not the only one complaining about the price. I only have one thing left on pre-order and thats going to be the last purchase I make from this company.

The rising prices are going to force a lot of guys out. Honestly, when it comes to the Hulk I have feeling I am going to be going a whole other direction with that one.
