You can bash Thor all you want but vomit inducing is a bit much. The G.I. Joe comparison is bad enough.

Pretty much

The *&^%$ that's gonna happen with IW will make any negative comments re Thor look like a gentle hug.:lol:monkey3

"You've talked before about your love of subverting genre. Can we expect that in "Infinity War"?"

Anthony: With "Infinity War," the biggest new element to the movie is Thanos and the fact that he's entering the storytelling in a very bold, strong way, to the degree that he's almost one of the leads. We've shaped an interesting narrative around him that in some ways leans heavily on a heist film in the fact that he's going after the infinity stones in a much bolder, successful way than he has in the past. The entire movie has that energy of the bad guy being one step ahead of the heroes. We looked at a lot of movies that had that heist-style energy to them, [and] that brought some inspiration...

Joe: There's going to be a lot of unexpected characters. There are more surprises packed into this film than any of the others. Part of that is character interactions, new interesting characters, characters that have made small appearances that are really getting fleshed out in this film. A lot of people enjoy the experience, so I don't want to give anything away, but certainly you can expect lots of surprises.

Thor fan event tomorrow. Feels kinda surreal 'coz I remember my jaw dropping at the first Thor trailer months ago:drool. Watched it over and over. Sitting waiting for my first Thor HT to show up today. Probably will end up ordering Loki and Valkyrie too $$$:horror. One thing I've heard that gives me some unease, is if Banner really is depicted as sort of bumbling. 'Coz I always took him as a pretty deep character; intelligent; and love Ruffalo as Bruce. IF that happens since I haven't seen the film yet.

The other thing that's a bit jarring is just knowing that this film *apparently* really isn't the promised lead-in really to IW as was said earlier by Marvel. Had that in my head for so long it's hard that *the beginning won't be here. Not really.*

But that kind of makes sense too, giving that kind of *ominous buildup* to BP.

Caught an industry screening yesterday and loved the film . The best Thor movie to date and better than Guardians 2. I can see where comic fans with go mad with how Planet Hulk is portrayed , but it's fine for a movie . I thought Hela was well done and posed an actual threat so that's a good step for the MCU. Overal 9/10

If i see Thanos and the avengers cracking jokes at each other during battles i'm done with Marvel.

Cancelled my ticket for the fan event after learning that my regular theatre will have this tonight. 7:00 PM for me.

Still hoping the audience doesn't suck.
