I liked ironman 1 and 2. The avengers movies I enjoyed. The cap movies and I guess GOTG is passable. Love spiderman. Enjoy seeing spidey in the MCU. But screw everything else. If it wasn't for spidey not being in the MCU I would of lost interest quick.

I find it funny how marvel literally released there best selling characters as movies first including freaking Daredevil and Punisher and now B list heroes are leading the MCU. Except Cap. I consider himan A lister

The original Avengers has not aged well either. I have a tough time watching Avengers all the way through now.. I loved it when it first came out but cannot seem to watch it anymore, maybe its cause i've seen it too many times but whenever it comes on I quickly change the channel. If my son asks to watch it for movie night, I always try to get him to watch something else instead which usually works. It definitely isnt like the classics like the OT Star wars, Predator, Alien(s), Superman 1 & 2, Original Batman & Batman returns.. those movies never get old for me. Avengers isnt the same for whatever reason...

Age will do that to you.

I find Avengers still more watchable than most MCU.

BEST: Winter Soldier, Avengers, Guardians vol 1

Watching Thor now -- his beard is laughably mustard color. But that movie is one of the best directed comic book movies ever.

Maybe we should play THE RANKING GAME...

Can you rank the below films from BEST to WORST? Do it for Martha.

Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Iron Man 3
Thor
Thor 2: Dark World
Thor 3: Ragnarok
Avengers
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Captain America: First Avenger
Captain America: The Winter Solider
Captain America: Civil War
Guardians of the Galaxy
GOTG vol 2
Dr. Strange
Ant-Man
Spiderman: Homecoming
Hulk

Here's my list, best to worst.

Iron Man
Thor
Captain America: The Winter Solider
Avengers
Dr. Strange
Guardians of the Galaxy
Captain America: Civil War - Decent film; did suffer from a lot of characters being there just for the sake of being there, though.
Iron Man 3 - I'm probably in the minority here, but I liked Tony's arc in this one.
Captain America: First Avenger - Decent, but not much replay value.
Ant-Man - It seemed like it was trying a little too hard... Tough to explain.
Spiderman: Homecoming - Peter was very unlikable and disrespectful (imo), villain was repetitive, one-dimensional, and boring.
The Incredible Hulk - Okay but could have used a lot more character development, compositing was crap in a lot of places.
Iron Man 2 - Too much going on. Didn't delve into things as much as I'd hoped it would.
Thor 2: Dark World - Tonal whiplash and too much going on.
GOTG Volume 2 - Drax was extremely annoying; otherwise, I'll have to watch it again because I can't remember much except that I didn't like it.
Avengers: Age of Ultron - Villian is a grandiose, grandstanding carbon copy of Loki, rehashed final battle with disposable army fodder, Bruce and Natasha's characterization was utterly butchered, stupid one-sided romance that couldn't even sell itself properly despite the foundations being there and ready for elaboration in the film, Clint's random deus ex machina family.
Thor 3: Ragnarok - Suffers from heinous characterization issues for Thor, Bruce has a nonexistent arc, too many serious moments played as jokes; would have done so much better if the core subject matter was completely different, but nope, they had to go and ruin an epic story with... This.

I will know the truth myself on Sunday... but I can see the humor hampering people's enjoyment, especially if they like their comics serious.

I on the other hand enjoy a good bit of humor in these silly comic book movies, so I'll likely like it.

That said, I didn't like GOTG vol 2 for that reason (among many others).

It was an enjoyable comedy action movie it was not an enjoyable comic book movie if that makes sense.

Don't go in there with high expectation this movie has the same forced comedy as GOTG2.

i hate the film because i find a lot of faults with it; that's not being edgy. I'm not even being rude or anything and i'm open to discussion. Please don't shut down genuine complaints with "oh they're being edgy".

What would you consider forced comedy? I thought the haircut scene was pretty forced, in the sense that it played out more like an SNL skit than something from a movie (overdramatic might be a good word).

They joked way to much when fighting villains but what pissed me off the most ill wrap it in a spoiler.

Asgard is going to dust and they are cracking joke after joke. There is no need for comedy when your home world has just been destroyed

Like i said i did like the movie overall i have just ignored they changed so many things from the comics and just enjoyed a colorful funny action movie.
