Way more palatable than Thor with a snout. Especially since Spidey just wears a costume. You wear one, you look like a Spidey..... Plus it ties in well with the actual process of symbiosis.

So an alien dresses up like an Asgardian. How is this more far-fetched than Venom, again?

Well never said it was farfetched because it's just comics so anything can happen really, but just more acceptible to most. Let's say you made a dog headed ironman, just hard to root for him.

Oh look, Thor WITH his helmet on!

Couldn't he have worn it for just a COUPLE of more scenes?
Geez.

Also... Kat Dennings should have worn at least ONE low cut shirt.

Having Kat Dennings in a movie with her cleavage covered up is like having one of the most beautiful, fast and limited cars in the entire world and keeping it in the garage. :cuckoo:

Speaking of which, time to take my Bugatt out for a spin, I wonder if Volkswagen would mind if I changed the license plate to God of Thunder :lol

Just a quick question, I kindda miss the scene after the credit as my son is asking to leave right away.

How come we can see Loki in the mirror? Is the professor under his control? or copying somebody else is his powers?

Just saw this last night. A heck of a fun movie. The Asgard scenes were great and really allowed for some great "fish out of water" humor on Earth. Amazing to see Thor of all people realized on screen much better than most other less outlandish superheroes.

My wife and I have come to the conclusion that this movie might have the two most attractive leads in cinema history, based on her opinion of Chris and mine of Natalie.

Based on how the trailers are suggesting Green Lantern will be (epic galaxy spanning adventure plus "down to earth" comedy) I really think that Thor has stolen a lot of its thunder (no pun intended.)

Influence.

Actually they may or may not be the case. Loki's powers are a bit difficult as they have changed throughout Marvel history. Loki is capable casting his thoughts across dimensional barriers, like that between Asgard and Earth. So there is that but he is also a shapeshifter and can change into other people. He has impersonated Thor or Captain America.

So...

We don't know if he is influencing, possessing or impersonating at this point.

Saw it for a second time tonight. I liked it even more.

Favorite moment (if I had to pick one)....Thor breaking into the compound to get Molinar, kicking all kinds of butt, finally gets to the hammer...and can't pull it free.

Hemsworth just nails these scenes and Branagh gets the beats just right.

The movie does require another viewing to really take it all in. I hope word of mouth gets around on what an entertaining romp this is...it was interesting that at tonight's showing, there were no kids (or teens)...

Have to check it out again before it gets slammed off the screens here by the next wave of movies this summer...

Loki to me stole the movie he was awesome. I loved this movie it's a great way to start the summer.

I found this interesting as well. I have seen the film three times and no showing had children or teens besides my own. The second time had a handful of twenty year olds that is about it. It doesn't bode well for this film having a long run :(

On a brighter note, I agree with your favorite part of the film. I'd have to through in Loki's visit to the compound very well done.

That is funny you mention that, no teens in my 4 viewings either, that I could see.

I'll let you know about my 5th :horror what can I say, I'm a Marvel/DC nut until death. Since I can't afford statues, I'll just go see Thor 5 x instead :lol

Now we know how Fast 5 made 83 million opening weekend, i'm still in shock that a part 5 of a franchise did that :cuckoo:
