For me Thor may have been simpler from TDK (which I love) thats ok it had fantastic character development, story telling, graphics, action, etc. I walked out thinking I was ready to walk back in already.

True dat, repeat viewing was a very natural feeling, it left me wanting more :rock

I'll be there for the midnight showing of GL, Cap, Avengers and Batman 3, like kara said, keep the good movies coming and the crappy ones away.

I'm not here to create comparison battles :lol

Thor really moved me though where IM1-2, Spidey 1-2, BB, TDK, Blade 1-2, 89 Batman, CR Superman 1-2, X2 and Hulk 1-2 didn't.

It's actually the 1st time this has happened to me with a Superhero movie so I don't even know what's going on here :lol

Just saw it today, best of the Marvel movies by far. However I got a bit confuse on the scene after the credits. Can anyone explain what happened? Gonna go see it again for sure.

Best Marvel movie to date :lecture

Hemsworth owned the character and has tremendous screen presence. I hope he doesn't go the way of lame ass romantic comedies, he has the potential to be a grade A action bad ass.

Hope he has a large roll in Avengers, need more Thor!

Yeah this is VERY subjective.

Can't say I was "moved" by the Thor story line. It was an action flick with few, if any, holes in the story. No more, no less...IMHO. That in itself puts it above par that genre but there was nothing particularly moving about it to me.

Ones judgement might be influenced by his/her affinity for the character as well. I admittedly am more of a DC fan particularly a Bat fan, so my opinion is admittedly biased.

I would say the Thor movie was better than Iron Man II but just under par to IM I.

I don't know if i want to see this movie, how was Idris Heimdall? did he get much screen time?, i know i'm going to LMAO when i watch it and he shows up growling and sh't with those silly contacts in...they really f'kd that character.

Heimdall was pretty cool, actually.

The entire case is solid. Hemsworth is a great Thor. And Tom Hiddleston steals the show as Loki. Amazing. So glad he'll be back for AVENGERS. The post-credit teaser was perfect.

This kicked the crap out of IRON MAN 2.

:lecture absolutely agree...I'll add Hopkins as Odin was well done.
