I have never preordered through threezero before...do they charge the full amount right away or when the item is shipped?

I've got a busy few months coming up with figures shipping and was not anticipating Arya

And wow, that's super annoying. If there's no exclusive I might just hope Sideshow offers it. I'll have enough points to cover most of it by the time it's released anyway...

no exclusive? forget about preordering from threezero. preordered my daenerys and got a messed up head. they said 6 weeks for a replacement. so much easier to buy local with the ability to return it if defective.

upfront charge, ambiguous release dates, questionable final product quality...definitely will wait this one out. this will be widely available once released.

That might be the way to go with this. I don't think they'll tweak the sculpt either.

From certain angles you can get a better likeness out of it, but it's not great. The width of the face is off, and the chin is way off. And I think it will take a little more than hair gel to style that hair. There might need to be some cutting. From the look of it the hair is thick and poofy and putting gel in it to flatten it a bit will make it longer. I don't know, I think the execution here is pretty poor. I can't get the image of the old 5 inch Chucky figure out of my head. The hair looked just like this. I can't remember if it was McFarlane or Neca.


Other than the sculpt, and the worries about scale, everything else looks fantastic. I think the outfit is pretty spot on. I think the gold paint on Needle could use a do-over but that's nothing. I like that they included a pouch for coins, and the inclusion of the Braavosi coin. I just wish they had some close ups of the other, smaller, accessories.

No, the Exclusive always comes with an accessory or accessories that won't come with the standard version. So for Dany 3 dragons instead of 1 and for The Hound is was his helmet.

Weird. The announcement only said orders placed at Threezero would get a t-shirt. No special mentions for other accessories were mentioned. That seemed to be the understanding on other posts too. I guess I’ll just check out their site at 8pm EST to see what the situation is. If they offer a cool enough additional item, ordering from them would be a no brainer.

Good question. The way they worded that message to me just confused me. I always thought things were just limited, not made to order.

I wish we could know these things, but I guess they won't explain how they do business. I understand that the number they finally do will be adequate to the demand they perceive in preorders, counting customers and stores. If they receive 3852 preorders they might do 4000 or 4200, but not 6000, for example. Or maybe they just do those 3852 and get out of stock immediately, then you can only purchase them in stores or eBay, that seems pretty accurate when you see how it works.

Maybe Sideshow does a bulk order around the time preorders go up? So frustrating. I got Daenerys through Sideshow, but since they don't have any info on Arya, I don't know if I want to gamble on a figure of my favorite character from the series. I'm changing my mind every few minutes on what to do about the Arya preorder.

Don't know if that will help you, but what I'm going to do is preorder from them. This way I know I'll have her at the best price. I waited on Daenerys and when I wanted to buy her she already was $20-30 more everywhere.
