I'd take legal proceedings man, you've done nothing wrong and should get what you've paid for.

You bought a lisencesed product from a known and lisencesed company, therefore you should get what you paid for and not be subjected to losing your figures, being out money and being treated like a criminal. Your in the right.

Call customs, parcelforce and ThreeZero

yeah most def lean on threezero for this, no question. its up to them to handle it i think. they need to contact parcelforce.

maybe they no longer have license and thats the issue?

It is not me taking legal proceedings it is the rights holder taking legal action against me unless I just allow the matter to drop.

I've emailed Threezero but not sure what they can do as either they are not the rights holder or they are but have claimed these are fake. Don't understand it to be honest, Parcelforce not available until the morning and Threezero will hopefully reply overnight.

I wouldn't allow them then man. They are not fake and you have done nothing but buy something you what from a reputable seller.

You won't even get your money back if they're destroyed, you'll be out nearly £300 and have had nothing but agro to show for it.

Here's the phone number for ThreeZero (852) 2370 9693, might be easier calling them.

I need to know who the rights holder is but it doesn't say. I've spoken to Threezero on Facebook and sent the info they have requested, next job is to speak to Parcelforce in the morning and see where that takes me.

Anyone in the UK, expect to get the same letter if you've not already had it.

It is really bizarre that they would bother inspecting something like this, came to such a strange conclusion (based on what?), and then actually pursued it by contacting whomever it is that they deem to be the holder of the license.

You could send customs links to various sites that reinforce the idea that these are licensed:

This is the problem there is no method of contacting them. I either fill in the form and face potential legal action from whoever they have deemed as the copyright holder or I leave it and they are potentially destroyed. The confusing part is that they have supposedly contacted the right holder who have said they breach those rights yet have missed that box on the form. There is a "Name of right holder" box which is blank.

Couple of other things I have noticed, they seized these on 1st March, but the letter was sent 2nd class. On that basis they have supposedly contacted the rights holder, got an answer and then mailed me a letter all on the same day.

My optimistic side is thinking this may be a standard letter whilst they make further enquiry. At this stage I don't know and won't know much more until tomorrow.

I think rights/licences holders for the film are Nickelodeon.

It is really wired that they would say these are fakes when other sites are also offering them, big name sires for that matter.

Anyone think this could be because of the low value Threezero placed on the figs? Man I hope this all gets sorted in a positive fashion, I have all four bought and payed for from a uk dealer..

I heard others saying that the value was marked dwon on their Game of Thrones figures and they didn't seem to have any problems. So I don't think that can be the only reason for this debacle. They must have come of the plane with something suspect and have been thought to be suspect also.

Btw fir the fellow with the boarder force letter, I posted in threezeros Facebook page and they said to email the customs guys with as much evidence and info as possible. Scan the letter, emails, contact details, the works. So hopefully they can help.

We're all just simple collectors so why do things have to become things difficult and depressing...

Do you mean Threezero customer services? That's what they've told me to do as well and I have emailed them with a picture of the main page of the letter.

Yeah that's what I meant. I hope they get back to you quick and can sort everything out for you, and for everyone waiting their turtles. Else this will be a terribly sad start to the year

I'm gonna get in the phone to ParcleForce in the morning and see what the craic is on their end.

Will keep updating with what I find out, I have emails with Threezero and Parcelforce so I'm hoping to have a better picture by tomorrow. I expect you'll be getting a letter shortly.

Well this is frustrating. I've had both Eddard and Jon direct from ThreeZero with declared low values so I don't think it's just that causing this as Bucky0Har3 said. Never heard of this before with importing figures. Surely there must be a disclaimer on the box which customs must have seen had theses been opened up to inspect them.

I looked on Sideshow's site and the copy right disclaimer on the product page says;

'© 2015 Paramount Pictures. All Rights Reserved. Nickelodeon and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" are trademarks of Viacom International Inc.'

Have any of you filled out the HMRC contact form that ThreeZero sent out? I haven't had a proper chance to sit down an look at it yet.

Hopefully ThreeZero's customer service guys can get this sorted.

Middle of the night but I have received a response from Threezero.........All I can say is "oh dear".

They've sent me a letter on plain paper with no contact details and a stamp saying "Threezero" addressed to "Customs" which supposdly proves that they hold the license for Michelangelo and Leonardo. Even if I had a way to pass on to UK Border Force I think they would find it hilarious.

Replied to Theeezero to that effect but it looks like they are not going to be able to offer any real assistance if they think a letter like that will wash. Parcelforce next and hopefully some kind of understanding of where this is at and who supposedly holds the rights.

Just off the phone to Parcelforce International, spoke to a guy who gets it as he is a collector himself. I've ended up giving him my login to threezero website and he is taking my invoices over to the Border Force guys and will update me by email.

Problem seems to be that Threezero have shipped these from one of the main fake places in China. In terms of the 'right holder' who has supposedly pointed them out as fakes, it is possible that these have been lumped in with other figures and checked but not sure on that.

Basically I have been told that there are no promises but at least I have the right guy gunning for me.

Christ talk about customer service, that's amazing news for everyone in this predicament!

Have you a name and contact number for the guy checking this at parcelforce?

So the latest on this.....................Customs reckon they don't know anything about it and have said that the parcel has not been seized after all! The tracking should have been updated with this process, it hasn't, so there is a picture emerging here.

I've emailed over a copy of my letter which is being taken to the Customs guys to have a look at now, will update when I have some more info.

So it would appear that nobody knows anything, and we're all going round in circles. I'm wondering too why there has been kniw change in the tracking after being told they were found and are being fast tracked through customs.

I hope it was just a balls up and everything is ok and you get your figures man.
