I can't afford the figure up front right now so i've been thinking of doing this too. Half an inch is a lot at the scale though, do you think it will look odd?

Believe me, I did think about this for way longer than I should have! :lol But a 9-inch sword with a 12-inch figure will certainly look oversized in that scale. It may not come all the way up to his chin like the real sword, but it'll be pretty darn close. I don't have the letter-opener in hand yet, so this is all speculation on my part at this point. Maybe I'll pick one up this week and check it against some other figures.

do let me know of your findings if you do :duff:

Skipping the exclusive and ordering through Sideshow. I know it's a little more expensive, but I wanted to Flex it. Also, I'm gonna pick up one of the metal Ice letter openers from the HBO store which is almost the right size for 1/6 scale. It's about a half inch too short (site says it's nine inches), but that's pretty darn close.

After all, Ned Stark deserves Valyrian steel not Valyrian plastic.
I guess if you can't pay up front then thats your best option, but it would still suck for me. $170 plus shipping, plus the shipping and cost of the sword. What was a great deal at $160 shipped with an exclusive accessory is now an almost $200 figure.

Yeah, I refuse to order from SS at that price. If they had the exclusive distributed through them it might be acceptable. There's no way I'm paying more there than the company making it, PLUS shipping? That's a joke.

Tbh, I doubt I'll be able to buy all of these releases from threezero so eventually I'll have to go that retailer. Ill probably go through Timewalker.

My payment still says processing on ThreeZero's website (said "awaiting payment" prior to that). How long should it take for the payment to be processed?

It's the order that's "processing," not the payment, so as Fiend mentioned, you're all good - that's what it should say when payment is completed. But I do agree that it would also be nice if they included "PAID" somewhere on the page or invoice itself.

I still check my Tyrion preorder every once and a while to make sure it still says processing.

Threezero just put up full specs and pics of their Robocop reboot figure. I have to laugh, the Alex Murphy reveal sculpt (which is excellent by the way) is the exclusive. :lol

Yeah, Threezero needs to learn to offer proper exclusives.

At this rate if they do Dany, her ex will be the dragons. John's will be Ghost and Arya's will be Needle lol

since when can you buy these from the HBO website...?

It looks like they'll only be selling them after they've been produced and shipped. Tyrion is "available for purchase in December." So it turns out that you actually can't buy them yet.
