Unflattering light, but best image so far, IMO. Going by how photos of other figures translate in hand, this could end up very nice indeed. Hopefully they fix the wooden hand sculpts.
I agree. That is some harsh lightning but Ned looks the better than he ever has. I think thats a first. :lol
Anyone have a date for Tyrion release yet? Can't seem to find his specific thread and it' s been a long wait ;)
Well, threezero has 4th quarter for their release, so I guess we can expect an announced shipping date at any point between now and December.

And Amazon swears its October 22nd. :lol

From threezero's Facebook page...Jon Snow, and Ghost?

Snow's outfit is looking pretty fantastic at this point. I really hope they weather it with plenty of snow and mud.

My only quibble with what I'm seeing is that I wish Ghost was a lot bigger and had a toothy, open-mouth snarl going on. (I'm also really hoping he stays non-articulated.) But the fact that they seem to be making a direwolf is pretty terrific news, in my opinion.

If they won't weather it then I will! Id like Ghost to be a bit bigger too but I'm not up in arms about it. A snarl would be cool though. And yes, pleeeaase stay non-articulated.

So Tyrion was $130, Ned is $160, so what will Jon w/ Ghost be? $180?

A cool exclusive would be a snarling, ready to pounce Ghost and the regular would be with the Ghost that we see.

I wouldn't be opposed to a later release of a season 4/5 Ghost with fur and articulation, similar to what Asmus (or ACI?) did with their horses. Jon will definitely be one of the center pieces to my collection, for sure.

I take back my previous comment... I thought the Nazgul horse looked cool, but I googled it. The other ones look horrible. I guess I never noticed the black leg gaps on the black horse.

Just pre-ordered him through Threezero's site :yess: I'm super excited!!
Sadly I missed out on the Tyrion pre-order bonus, had no idea it was coming out. What's the best place to order Tyrion at the moment? I haven't ordered a 1/6 before online.

Well depending on where you're at when it's released Sideshow (US) might carry it, Bigbadtoystory, cotswold collectibles, 1/6th bruce, try some of those.

Both Alter Ego Comics and Big Bad Toy Store are solid sellers... I have purchased from they countless of times in the past. Both are selling him for $120 which is a decent price. Both sellers have their strengths. Big Bad allows you stock pile purchases so you save on combined shipping and have a penalty-free cancellation policy. Alter Ego has a generous rewards program for frequent buyers but charges a re-stocking fee for cancellations.

Depends on what you are looking for.

Skipping the exclusive and ordering through Sideshow. I know it's a little more expensive, but I wanted to Flex it. Also, I'm gonna pick up one of the metal Ice letter openers from the HBO store which is almost the right size for 1/6 scale. It's about a half inch too short (site says it's nine inches), but that's pretty darn close.

After all, Ned Stark deserves Valyrian steel not Valyrian plastic.

I can't afford the figure up front right now so i've been thinking of doing this too. Half an inch is a lot at the scale though, do you think it will look odd?
