That's what I thought, but he kept saying release so part of me had hope.

He certainly differentiated between saying "release" when talking about the DLXs and then "pre-order" when talking about Premium.

I would be surprised if the DLXs were ready to ship during those times but it would certainly be a pleasant surprise.

Either way, I'm excited to see the revealed products!

I went to Navy Pier this afternoon to see Optimus Primal, Optimus Prime, and Mirage in person and they are unbelievable. This may very well be my most anticipated Transformers movie.

If we get a premium scale Primal no doubt he'll be in robot mode. But I'd take a beast mode too since

Yea he was. I barely really got a look at him tbh.

Really enjoyed Rise of the Beasts! And we need more DLX's badly!

I'm still putting Optimus' Bumblebee G1 design (left) at the top after seeing the movie. Small differences I know, but big enough it still takes the top spot for me. I'll always go for Premium over DLX, those accessories would be cool to have at that scale.

There are two aspects of RotB prime I like more than BB: I like the shoulders, and I like the truck grill with Autobot logo underneath the windows.
Everywhere else, I'm a bigger fan of BB design. I really liked the BB head especially, which is a little different in RotB.

It's interesting that they seem to have rebuilt the entire thing from scratch to resemble the BB design. Perhaps because they switched to a different effects house they had to build their own new assets.

Let's be honest though we're splitting hairs, they're both great. We're lucky to be seeing designs like this now.
