Hopefully that and Casey Jones are next. I want Splinter too but I like Casey more and a Foot Soldier would be a great seller for army builders.

Are fila big in the USA, in the UK they are generally the bargain bin trainers, so $110 for fila seems really expensive.

Also a lot of the early art shows Mikey wearing the exact same trainers but with a Nike swoosh, wondered when it changed to fila?

Not sure when the artwork made the change, but I've seen that Fila made a couple other pairs of TMNT themed shoes before (shredder colorway, and one that has changeable straps for each color of the turtles) so I'd imagine that Fila has some kind of rights to certain footwear. $110 is pretty expensive, I only got a pair because of the TMNT theme, otherwise Fila isn't really on my radar for shoes.

Yeah same in Ireland a pair of new Fila is about €20-25 here, about $30.

I asked Alex about the Turtles line and she said:
Us distributing or not distributing Transformers Hot Toys items doesn't involve Prime 1.

There are no plans (that I'm aware of) to acquire the license from Avatar the Last Air Bender or Legend of Korra. We're leaving Turtles alone for now but could visit it again in the future. There's tons of new movie merchandise, current TV show and older Turtles stuff coming onto the market now as well, so there should be amazing options for TMNT fans. Seems it's have a very amazing resurgence currently!

Not sure if it was posted, but I just noticed amazon has all 4 TMNT Classics 1990 movie figures for $19.99 each and instock. Just ordered the set and cancelled my PO from BBTS.

Would anybody of you guys be willing to help a fellow foreign freak with these Classic movie sets? I have already passed on the Cartoon guys and Rocksteady and Bebop. But this set is just too good to pass. So if anyone might visit TRU again please have a heart for a foreigner.

While these Classic 90's movie turtles look great, I really want the original set to display or 100% identical updated copies.

I honestly haven't noticed anyone wearing Fila sneakers in probably 10 years. I think they were bigger in the 80's and 90's.

They have ZERO paint details. Playmates should be embarrassed



Was this so hard to do or asking too much?

Prototype on the left (which still has better paint than the final product) and a repainted version with green around the eyes and spots.




They have no paint...not even their finger nails!!! How cheap is that?!!! Even the movie figure from TMNT2 from 20 years ago had better paint!! They even painted the green skin around the eyes, nails and spots unlike the overpriced piece of **** Playmates wants to sell now for $20 dollars
