they cost a bomb, 1 of them cost as more than buying all 4 Classic Turtles from Playmates...

anyway any comparison between SHF & Playmates Classics? Looks like Bandai got some design cues from Playmates & modified them.

but i don't get why it's Tamashii Exclusive, is Ninja Turtles such a big thing in Japan than the rest of the World they have to make them JDM only? or is there some license issue? Revoltechs seems not having this issue.

Revoltech Turtles are mostly bootlegs now. Just ask The Master Turtle. I kid you not. They started making fakes almost 4 months after authentic release. It is crazy. Most notables is box paint, poor joints, bending weapons, etc as differences. You may get fakes of the figuarts as well so cross your fingers.

well then i guess i have to buy tru Japanese stores. reputable ones...

but they are one of the most expensive figurarts til date. I'd expect them to be at least 2 times better than Playmates Classic.

I'm honestly passing on them. I'd rather get 1/6 or better scale turtles. These still don't quite capture the Fred wolf look. I'm sure they will be amazing figures. But I'm just picky about what new tmnt figures I buy (unless it's made by neca)

You ever see the video of when a guy gets his tmnt #1 first print sent to cgc to ge graded, gets its back, cracks it open, and it's not a first printing(they basically stole the first print)?

Oh hell no, I would personally pay them a visit. There is no way I am sending my TMNT #1 anywhere. I am keeping that baby close to me.

i guess nothing you can do about it, unless you recorded the whole process of packing, driving to the post, shipping it with constant look on the item.

I would seek and destroy. Yeah I've seen cgc actually grade #1 issues that are actually 2nd or 3rd printings! I wouldn't trust anyone.

is it worth it? you end up in jail and you have to pay for any compensation on any harm caused & trauma.

Wow! I must admit Leo looks great. Not that much good that I am willing to pay the high price, but good nonetheless. I dont see a knockoff of this one comming with all those small joints btw.
