Grabbed the Turtles at Asda at Parkhead today. They Had Shredder, Kraang and Splinter too. No April or Footsoldier. Might go back and get them but I'm not sure.

These are more impressive than I thought they were going to be. Every weapon shall be repainted!

picked up the Shredders Dragon Bike LEGO today.

One of the big draws was the motorized skateboard. I had the 90's toy version as a kid

Damn, I had those mini ones as a kid too - I've been looking to rebuy them (the shredder drill and the party van especially) but can't find them anywhere. Weird considering the amount of vintage tmnt on ebay!


edit: just splashed out on a set of neca bootlegs too, will post impressions on quality etc when I get them. They look pretty decent everywhere I look apart from the occasional 2 left feet or something. I picked a seller that has good feedback and extra stock so if there's any major issue I should be able to haggle a replacement out of them. Fingers crossed haha

Megan Fox is a horrible actress who doesn't deserve to be a part of something as awesome as TMNT. But I'm not too bothered, because I'm not going to see that movie anyway. Not after what Bay did to Transformers.

Haha thanks, I checked completed listings on ebay and it seems I was just not looking hard enough before, they come up every so often and quite cheap. Will keep looking!

You can find almost everything these days. Usually pretty cheap. Problem is, there's so much of it that it's hard to stop. I started by just wanting a set of turtles on display, now I ave a corner with three shelf units full of te stuff. Not complaining, I'm luvin it!!

April has a girl-next-door/Marianne quality about her. Megan Fox never ever had that vibe and even if they replaced her skank-stripper look, she'd have to employ some actual acting skill to play someone who isn't completely devoted to themselves. Looks-wise she's a homeless man's Angelina Jolie, skill-wise she's a quadruple amputee vagrant, personality-wise she's a pair of paints on an incontinent hobo.

No chance for this unless she somehow develops a soul. Bay too for that matter lol.
