Have to agree with this.

You can buy a special type of gel that you attach to the soles of your figure and it stops them from falling. Causes no damage to the shelf or figure.

What gel is that?

Actually, with the ball and socket joints HT typically use, a small amount of blu-tac in them can tighten that up to the point where it will not move unless you wish it to.

No need for museum wax.
