stupid ass thread.

I dont think Ive ever seen anybody try to act so "cool" all the time and bash other's posts yet turn around and run to tattle to the mods about a post they dont like at the drop of a hat ....

.. there, I said it.
I feel better now..... :monkey1

I work with a couple of twenty year olds and their favorite word is MAD.

For example - "Dude, I was playing Guitar Hero with him and he's mad slow."

I guess "mad" meaning "really".

Thanks for quoting his post. I've had him on ignore for about two weeks now so I don't get to enjoy his lack-of-witicisms... Try it. You'll enjoy it.:D

You'll never be able to keep up with it all. Today's slang is Pop Culture driven. Where it used to be generation centric and the Pop Culture would incorporate those terms in order to seem hip or "edgy", today many different facets of Pop Culture are taking it upon itself it create the new words or new phrases and give them to the youth via Music, TV or Film. Being a teacher in Middle School I unfortunately have to hear all the newest terms and see how terms used only a couple of months ago are easily replaced with newer and at times more confusing ways to say the same thing dependant on what is popular at the time. Even saying the word "joint" is considered ancient when most kids nowadays if not using a newer term for it just call it a "j"......

You can never keep up so just stick to what you know and show your age. :lol
