I really want there to be a Con exclusive figure. Maybe Belloq in his Robes? Cairo Indy? SS missed the boat with not doing any LOTR con figures so now is the time to at least make some for Indy.

They should start selling more accsesory packs. Belloq's Robe and Staff for 30 bucks would be great, and better then buying a new figure. Yeah...I know SS isnt making money, but that would be a better thing to do.

That idea has come up before and it's a terrible idea. What if you want to display BOTH Belloq in his suit and in the robes? $30 for the outfit then whatever the secondary market cost is? Thanks but no thanks. Give me a brand new figure.

90 bucks for robes and a staff? Blah.

Same here. I'd rather buy a whole brand new figure with extras for that. I'm not into the whole changing clothes and turning them into barbie dolls.

I use to kitbash WWII Airborne soldiers and now I hate having to undress and redress figures, so I prefer them already to go with minimal fuss after getting them open.

I recently got Kane from Alien, my first Hot Toys, which wasn't too bad, just had minimal assembly. But I am trying to stay clear of much more then that, i must have broken around 50 shirt buttons, and hundreds of snaps or hooks off of suspenders already...

I just did two minor custom figures today Professor Jones and Bruce Wayne. While it was cool I'd rather just have my figures come to me already put together for the most part.

You wouldnt have to redress Belloq, only put the cloak and hat on. To pay 100 bucks for a hat, cloak, and a staff is just awful.

Not really and like I said I like my figures to be that just that figures not barbies. Keep the clothes accessory packs for barbie and friends.

I really wish Brant or someone from SSC would address any pending Ark changes or mods. I don't know whether to get a Reg Toht and a Hasbro Ark or stay put with my Ex. I'm sure SSC will nail it with the Ark but I would really like to hear something from them sometime soon.

Something else to consider. The SSC ARK may be too heavy to pose with others figs Sallah (when they do it) and Indy "lifting it" e.g., but the Hasbro seems pretty light.

No, I dont buy cloths. But they need futzing. Thus must be redressed.

They should make the new one cheap then. And since they cant include the Ark...the 90 price tag cant be justified. IMO a course.

I tend to futz mine without taking their clothes off.

Why should be be cheap then? Just because he wouldn't have the Ark? Who knows what all he might come with. The standard price seems to be $80-90 direct from SS anyways. So you either pay that or get it from a retailer.

I hate paying 90 for a Belloq anyway.....and if I decide to get this one, I'd hate to pay 90 more for another one...10 times cooler....eh...oh the woes of collecting.

I would never pose Indy and Sallah carrying the Ark, so the weight issue isn't one for me. But the ability to make it look like gold is more important -- can it be done with polystone? I hope so.

Also, if you're planning to get a Hasbro ark off ebay, I'd wait until the SS arks ships and then demand for the Hasbro one goes down.

Look at the Idol. Its plastic...or something, and very realistic looking. SS can pull it off.

Plus, the final Indy looks WAY better then the prototype...so...we'll see.
