With the way businesses work, I am pretty sure Sony got a lot of production talent/tips from Marvel Studios. People here dont seem to understand what growth is. Money is money. If they need to improve, they will improve. Gotta keep stockholders happy, including me.

Here comes this beaut. Fell asleep during Logan because it overworked his brain and now naturally he's detesting the notion of another CBM being made for adults.

Stick to anime, Junior. Leave the mature content for us forty and fifty-somethings.

Ehh just relax. Knowing Snake, he likes messing with people. I do the same..

In the end, we all want to watch good movies. I understand Sony's track record hasnt been the best but with Homecoming, I am sure they learned.

Homecoming was incredibly underwhelming. Like, I'd never watch it again. That's depressing because I even gave that crap ASM2 a second viewing on home video.

It must be exhausting to not address anything except by calling people stupid and teenage. Hard R doesn’t mean anything qualitatively, and anyone interested in a Spideyverse retaining any of the character’s core qualities would recognize it as the desperate cash in it is. Assuming they’re rven going hard R.

What films have you made that you’re so exhausted from? Please eloborate while everyone holds their breath.

I actually agree with that. For me the Raimi films are still top of the Spidey pile.
He's talking about the one with Jaimie Foxx, though. I also really love the 2nd Raimi film.

The ASM2 costume was awesome. Closest thing to comics Spidey thus far and a joy to watch in motion. Shame the studio destroyed that movie.
I agree about the costume. Sucks that the HT version has a black stripe down his head that you can't permanently remove.

I love Raimi's films (even SM3) but the problem with Raimi is he would have never touched the books from the 80s & 90s - which to me are the best eras in Spidey lore. Its the stuff I grew up with and the stuff I really wanna see on film, which SONY seems to finally be tackling via this new Spider-verse.

I don't see how ANYONE can get excited about a "Spideyverse" without Spidey!!! Regardless of the rating. Now that is the definition of RETARDED along with a picture of Sony's execs in charge of developing the Spider-Manless franchise. I can't wait to read, since I won't be seeing this, as to how they explain Venom's origins such as his name, his look, and his abilities, without having 1st been being bonded to Peter Parker which leads to the symbiote's look and hatred for Spider-Man once Parker rejects it.

I mean really, what is Brock gonna have a fascination with spiders and desire to be like one?? Or I guess since the symbiote is gonna be a lab created experiment and not an alien, then maybe it was made from spider DNA. Again, either way, this is not VENOM!!

No, mainly because some of us CBM fans aren't teenagers and need something a bit more intellectually and tonally stimulating than the safe fare coming from Disney.

Naturally, there are people who gravitate towards said safe fare that aren't mentally capable of steering clear from a thread for something they clearly won't like or understand because it's very much the opposite of "safe".

Lmao yea Sony is definitely going to deliver on that. Just like they did with there last three movies. You do realize they tried to copy the mcu right? Or are you going to look over that to? Lmao

It’s hard R bro. Hard. That means it’s good and if you don’t know that you’re a moronic teenager. Snikt is a serious auteur hindered by the studio. That guy who schooled him about the Rogue One cut is obviously also stupid and teenage and soft PG in general. He doesn’t use bold font. Logan, bro.

They will spell out Venom’s origin in an opening crawl composed of intestines and female nipples and other mature, serious, hard R objects that convey depth and blood and bad words. It will superb, but in bold.

Grow up, people. Hard R. Extended cameo. Fabio Snoke.

At the gym.

Which is hilarious. What snikker doesn’t understand is that Sony will not make money off a hard r Spider-Man movie. Spider-Man is a KIDS property. No matter what. It sells toys. Also Spider-Man isn’t an r rated hero. What the hell has Spider-Man ever done that warrants an r rating? His darkest story was kravens last hunt arguably. Carnage maybe but not Spider-Man.
And lastly Sony never said they wanted hard R.
