Gotta agree with you. Hardy is wasted on Venom. I'd much rather see him as Wolverine.

And thank God for that. I don't understand this hard on for him to be Wolverine when he's just another ****** that doesn't have any of the makings of the character.

I'm still really baffled about the whole motivation behind a Venom movie that doesn't involve or have as its basis Spidey. He's not an intrinsically interesting character. That's like making a Batzarro movie outside of the Batman universe.

It’s the idiots at Sony trying desperately to hold onto whatever they have left of the character before they fall on there face. Venom is the most popular spidey villain so they think they’ll make money off of him and all of spiderman’s Villains without Spider-Man himself. It’s stupid thinking and the reason why they lost spiderman to begin with. To busy trying to make a franchise then a good movie.

Tom Hardy is great and all...but outside of those dumb youtube movie reviewers who make stupid "top 10 most anticipated movies of 2018!!!!" videos, NO ONE is going to have any real excitement for this thing until we get our glimpse of Venom. They should stop fartin' around and just show it already.

And the remarkable thing is this isn't a leap at all on what they do on those bull **** investigative shows. It always bugs me how they're offices and squad rooms look in those shows being so ultra tech with like blue lighting everywhere. Please. The ceilings are cigarette stained and all the furniture is a ****** colored brown, not to mention every surface of that place has had coffee spilled on it at least once.
