Looks ok.
Too PG and modern for my taste but ok.
The only thing I don't like is transformation and talk animation... They're goofy as hell!
If the movie isn't a gritty realism crap then I'll add it to fun stuff and enjoy the sillyness.

I doubt HT will take the gamble on doing anything from this movie, but we'll see. It doesn't look like we're getting any merchandise based directly on it.

As for that footage, I liked it but I'm still going to remain cautious. Looks better than the Raimi version but that's not saying much.

Agreed. It kind of (kind of, kind of, kind of) reminds me of the last Venom 1:1 from Sideshow.

I don't know that Venom really works as a live-action character for me. To me that's only marginally better than the Spider-Man 3 version, if at all.
