I just received mine, box looks to be in good shape, trying to find some time to open it.

Saw some QC stuff on FB with people having various scuffs and scratches. Here’s a screenshot from a YouTube unboxing, pretty obvious on the door there. That’s… concerning.

I was wondering what a tijd machine was. I was thinking that's the weirdest misprint I've ever seen. It wasn't until I saw the pic at full size that I realized what was going on.

Got mine today and it's fantastic but yeah not without flaws such as these.

Now, I'm in Ireland and could only get mine by a parcel forwarding service (which worked out great incidentally) so I don't know what return options are open to me, if anything. I don't know if I'd go to the trouble in any case. Bad as it looks there I deliberately captured it at its worst and most visible. Other angles and lighting conditions are available where it isn't visible.

Anyway, I love this thing. Looks amazing all lit up, it's cold and heavy, works great with the figures, everything I needed and more besides. I genuinely didn't expect it to look and feel this high quality.

Far from making me wish I had a Hot Toys 1/6 it has put me in a frame of mind of wanting to have more 1/10 or 1/12 iconic movie vehicles at this quality and selling my space-hogging Hot Toys Batmobile.

Got mine opened today. Scratches on both doors and the roof. Sent an email about exchanging for a replacement, we’ll see what happens. Definitely killed my enthusiasm and just boxed it back up for now.

Very worried now on how the complex paint job on the refit Enterprise is going to turn out if they couldn’t even get this done without widespread QC problems.
