Ok. So it's a doll. What's wrong with that?

That people tend to respect statue collecting more.
People see statues like works of art or something., it is funny because if u collect toys u get a funny look, but if u get statues u get looks of admiration

Never heard of that before...... So collecting statues of guys wearing spandex and underwear is better than figures of guys wearing spandex and underwear?

^^ That's true :lol

I'm 40 and haven't "outgrown" collecting comics, toys, statues, etc. and don't plan on it. Collecting is a part of who I am--my true family and friends understand (even if some of them aren't interested in it). I don't concern myself with what anyone thinks about my hobby.

Thought you're older than Mr. Green. You complain about back pain and such one would think you're like 50+. Mr. Green is 44-45, lol.

That won't happen again....How do I get rid of this thread........

Nah, keep this thread open and bask in all the old farts who collect! :lecture

I'm closing in on 50 and I collect statues, dollies and other stuff and I don't care what others (whether they're friend or foe) think. :yess:

If something makes you happy and you enjoy it then more power to you! :rock :lecture :rock

:lol Physically I feel 70+. My wife and I had a really nice Valentine weekend trip in which I was hurting enough that I had to use my cane to get around. Nothing makes me feel young and sexy on a romantic weekend like hobbling around with a cane.

And some sage advice....the moment you think "I am too old for that" is the moment you start growing old fast. There will be plenty of physically limitations as you age, but anything thats not a physical thing should never be deemed "too old".

I still play with my kids all the time, I love going to Disney and posing with characters, I ride a bike, play with R/C cars, do cosplay, have a Huge Halloween party, go camping, etc etc.

Do not let people tell you that something that makes you happy is not appropriate for your age.

I love my dollys, and don't give a crap if no one else does....
