I'm still having difficulty feeling figures outside of MCU (and my Arnie collection).. It's probably partly that I'm just not really onboard with Batfleck or the cross-over as a whole. Fortunately for my wallet I've also not really felt an urge for Star Wars either. Which is a good thing, because I'd want every Luke, Han and Leia figure. Hell, in 1983-6 I used to pretend I was Luke Skywalker. I bet no preteen child ever pretended to be McGregor Kenobi or Emo Ani..

I suppose it is a good thing that MCU is kinda where my Hot Toys heart is...

He's not fat. Just bulky. Plus he might be wearing a muscle suit under the armour. (Correct me if i'm wrong).
Some goes with deadpool. They removed the muscle suit as ryan reynold is already perfect for the suit.

The figure is certainly not showing Afflecks real physique. I'm sure they'll work on the fitting of the suit more so it's tighter against the body.

It doesn't really matter how tight the shirt is. Clothing doesn't suck up like that to the body. The clothing has to have muscles sewn in or molded in. I had this discusion on here before. I was a pretty fit guy when on active duty and one of my friends is a pro body builder. I posted pics of both of us shirtless and then with just a tshirt and then a compression shirt( like under armor for example). You can't see any of my defination. Lol no big shocker. But Mike is huge. And you can't really see his either. And he's not just huge. He's cut.

With a Kevlar type long sleeve costume and an undershirt there's about zero chance any definition shows (even though the suits not actually made of that and is mostly screen printed...). It's why it's sewn into costumes. Or suits are sculpted with the definition built in.

Yeah. I sometimes have to shake my head the way many people seem to think it's no holds barred once you give them an Internet connection. The power they have at their fingertips. Literally.

But as you mentioned, that's pretty much the unfortunate reality of it. In order to boost their own self esteem, many people feel the need to tear others down. Generally, individuals possessing high self esteem, high confidence and self respect, wouldn't feel the immediate need to disparage someone else for no other reason than to be spiteful. Especially in anonymity.

For a 43 year old guy Affleck is in good shape but it helps to have trainers and prepared food to help him get fit for these roles. I'm almost his age and 6ft 205 I can feel the weight creeping up.
