Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I have to say, that I am looking forward to a 4th outing. I still have hope that Bay can still pull off another great Transformers movie like the first one.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Bay do give us awesome robot action, but that's about it.More creative people need to get involved in the storytelling, which was absolutely horrible in DOTM.
Megatron listening to and taking advice from that victoria secret model and Optimus Prime stuck in cables felt like a slap in the face of Transformers fans,i mean...seriously?If Bay fails with even Megatron and Optimus Prime,im not sure he is the guy that should continue with TF.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Josh is going to be upset with me for posting here, but since you asked...

I wish they were actual Transformers... based on the source material...
and not Bionicle rejects...
And while they're at it maybe make the movie ABOUT the Transformers
and not Shia LeDouche... :dunno
Also, leave the toilet humor for something else... it doesn't belong in Transformers.
Finally, no "Optimaaaaaas"... and maybe, no military involved...
you know, just Robots?

Nope, I just don't want to hear you complain the next time someone beats a horse. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Dude, Optimus Prime is one of the most badass heroes in cinematic history thanks to Bay. Seeing that dude destroy everything in his path is mindblowing.

Oh yeah i agree,Optimus' heroic appearences in the first 2 movies still gives me goosebumps, but the final stand in DOTM was nothing special.

I won't go into details a whine about it half a year since it's release, all i can say is that i don't think Bay can deliver another movie,it was obvious in DOTM that he and the writers ran out of ideas and couldn't come up with anything better,i hope he's done.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I don't think he even wants it anymore, but with enough money on the table,he'll probably take it yes.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I didn't want to see a third movie after the second, but went anyway. Now, I wouldn't mind seeing a fourth after seeing the third. He slowed his camera down and didn't cut as quickly, so I could actually make sense of what was happening.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I still don't get the hate for the 3rd. The ending went on for 10 minutes too long, Mr.Chow...and the ending sucked. That's it. The rest was just damn entertaining. It's a terrible movie. But so what? You're paying for action. Not story.

You have your taste in movies, and that's fine, but are you serious with that statement?
You say it like Transformers is destined to be crap movies with crap story.Bay made it that way, anything can be made good, nothing is destined to fail.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Yep. It was always going to be stupid crap. Even if it was good, people would still think it was stupid crap.

Because its a film about robots that turn into cars. Amazing.

And they fight. And fight. And fight. I saw an episode of G1 about Megatron trying to get back a stolen film reel or something, and that was probably worse, and more uninteresting then anything Bay has done.

You guys love The Expendables. Which was pretty awful. The story was just as good as Dark of the Moon's.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

I know what transformers is meant to be and this is not what im talking about, even for a transformers movie, the last movie could be alot better.Ive allready pointed out things i thought was stupid,do i need to point out more?

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

If you have too. I'm aware of how stupid it is. Which is why I like it. It's the perfect contrast to everything else. It's entertainment. It's a firework show.

Why does every movie need to be Nolan's level and up? Can't something just be an effects vehicle? No other movie is doing this. So what's the big deal? Either watch the damn thing, or don't.

Yup. They can be junk. And people can like them or not like them.

Why complain?

Why defend?

Because we have shelter and food and built the internetz. If there were still dinosaurs we wouldn't be arguing about Transformers.

Re: Transformers 4: The Search for More Money

Hahaha.

I just get sick of people using Transformers as this evil thing...when there's far worse cinema out there. Atleast Bay puts work into these flicks. Maybe not in the areas that create fantastic films....but still.

Unlike Brett Ratner. Who has no style. No real passion.

The hate comes from the fact that the first was a good movie, so why couldnt the others be? Thats what pisses me off the most, these are kinda like MI movies, first was pretty good/decent, and the others just junk

They simply didnt give a ____, and spent zero time thinking about what they wrote.

A little bit of thought would have went along way, for me anyway.

There are only so many WTF moments one can take when watching a movie of this caliber and budget.
