Whilst I agree they are the best TF toys ever, I'm pretty sure Bayformers have nothing to do with the MP series budget wise. The Bayformers toys are horrible and those are the ones that bring the money in for more pseudo-Zoids.

Masterpiece are a different animal, as the people that buy them are old school TF fans, not the fans of the new junkyards...

I don't like the looks of the Bayformers, but I won't say all the movie toys are bad, I think RotF Leader Prime and Starscream are some of the best designed TF toys, and I have to say most of the Human Alliance line was pretty good like the Alternators line. Transformers Animated and Transformers Prime probably would also not have happened, and their toys were pretty good too.

I hate the AoE toys, it feels like they have taken a step back from the previous lines in transformation and design. Yes, they are made for children, but I don't know why they should make the designs simpler when I see little kids today smart enough to use iphones and tablets. I grew up with the G1 toys and I like how the toys have evolved today to being more posable, more complex, and have intriguing transformations.

I agree, but I also think lots of folks were reminded about Transformers, or had their interest rejuvenated by the new movies and hoopla surrounding them. That is to say, I think more old school G1 fans are getting into toys now than were 10 years ago. But I'm also sure that a new breed of fans are discovering the old shows, and collecting toys from them because of this.

LOL Awesome.

So many megan fox haters in the world. She isn't the best actress, but she is far from the worst... And what other serious actors would take these roles. Be real with yourselves. Lol

I kind of believe the 100 mil weekend theory, our theatre is only showing 3D and I had to drive 35 miles to a theatre showing 1 2D showing per day with 3 screens running the 3D shows almost around the clock. Don't think I remember this ever happening with anything else I've ever went to see.
