I'm telling you, Michael Bay knows the audience for this kind of movie, and knows how to entertain them. I certainly can't wrap my head around the specifics, because it all seems so bad, but he's got it down to a science.

a lot of the conflict, 80% mostly could have been avoided if only OP flew his azz of in the first place.

I believe the screen writer Ehren Kruger should be the 1st one to be replaced in this Franchise. Ever since he got involved with this movie Franchise, the movies received a lot of hate. He 1st got involved with the Revenge of the fallen being the co-writer, from there the franchise went downhill, then he replaced Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman for the 3rd and 4th film.

Saw this last night...
Now this is coming from someone who thought the first one was good, I really enjoyed the 3rd one (loved the chicago battle) and thought the second one was bad. So Having said that I thuoght this one was tied with the second one. It was just bad... But not for the same reasons.
2 was bad because it became a slapstick comedy. It was uneventful and added nothing new.
4 was bad because it was boring... I stopped caring about the events in this film after the scene were Mark W house got blown up. That scene was actually very good. After that it was just more of the same that I have seen before.
Why must people in M Bay films yell and argue about things that no person would argue about while they run for their lives?? It's one thing to have bombs and explosions going off... It's another to have people screaming the whole time... Could the John Goodman Robot just shut up for a minute??? Or the Bald Guy who was reduced to a screaming idiot.
People said this film got rid of the dumb humor... I disagree. There was plenty. Perhaps not to the level of the racist robots in 2 but it was there.
I just wnated this film to end. There was nothing I had not seen before but done better in the other 3 films. I say this not as a Transformer fan. Honestly I think these toys got way more then they deserved.... Seriously they are movies about toys. I say this as a fan of all films... I don't mind a dumb mindless fun summer film....
I Seriously could not wait for this film to end. I was so uniterested in the story and the characters.... Dinobots.... WHO CARES?? Bigger robots making big destruction... Yawn....
I don't even hate Bay but I think its time to let someone else make these film so to give it a new look... I think part of the reason I was so board is because this film was a paint by the numbers Bay movie. When I say I have seen it all before... I really mean it.
