Its only a teaser, not a full trailer.

I get that, I was just speaking regarding the awesome trailer comments, it's not an awesome trailer, it's a good teaser. Can't wait to see more. I hope Prime gets more screen time this movie, the only thing that bothered me in the first was Bumblebee being the prominent Autobot.

So, I wanted to confirm if Peter Cullen would be returning as Prime's voice, and on IMDB,

They list Dariue McCrary back as Jazz. Is this movie all about Transformer resurrections?

My issue with the 1st film was Prime not even landing a single blow on Megatron in their final "fight". They built Megatron into a bit too much of an unbeatable bad ass. I mean Optimus Prime was an even match for him in normal Transformer stories, but here he was treated as a rag doll.

I suppose, but I'd think if that's the extent of it, why bother to hire someone to voice it, just make it silent CGI moments.

Yeah that was 1 thing i didnt like about the movie, kinda ruined the last battle...When they both stood up to continue their battle Prime said his famous quote "One shall stand, one shall fall..." and you would expect Prime to kick some ass,but no he continues geting throwed around in buildings and in the end gives up and willing to sacrifice himself by destroying allspark in his chest.

This evening the Steelers succeeded in making me emotionally invested in them, and I have seen the teasers for Transformers and GI Joe. What a wonderful ride tonight has been.

The Transformers teaser was mind-blowing. It achieved conveying the much darker tone of this movie, even in the few action-packed seconds we saw. It showcased the Decepticons wonderfully. The arrival of the Decepticon troops resulting in the destruction of an aircraft carrier, Ravage, a very angry Starscream, and what I can only presume was the Fallen viciously pummeling Optimus. What a rush. The truly great sequels which surpass their predecessors invariably get the origin story out of the way in the original, and have the latitude to pursue the real heart of the mythos in the next. I hope this does just that.

Maybe if I had some kind of nostalgic connection with Transformers, I might have enjoyed it (I'm the guy who enjoyed Spiderman 3 and Ghost Rider,) but the original Transformers was before my time (I had Beast Wars,) so I wasn't in a rush to see it in theaters. I did however catch in on HBO, and found it pretty bad.

To me, the first Transformers personified the loud, dumb CGI filled action flick. It looks good, and I admire the work put into it, but at the end of the day, it's just the world's most expensive toy commercial with Shia Labouf.

I hate the cartoon. I watched Beast Wars.

And the original shows WERE toy commercials.

And Ghost Rider one of the worst movies of all time...

And I wasnt even being serious when I said you're no fun. :D:lol
