Michael Bay is one of the best action directors working today.

Yes, Bay creates wild action rides, but his films can lack quality dialogue at times because his talent is big explosive scenes, not dialogue and drama, and that's what jinx is commenting on, that you shouldn't expect quality dialogue from a Bay film, just cool explosions and fights, etc.

Sometimes these movies with bad dialogue (like the Star Wars prequels) just need someone else to read the script and they'll have their dialogue problems fixed.
