Yup, that's the point I was going to make. All Bay was doing was playing to the targeted demographic, 13-22 year olds. And us lol.

Was gonna say it makes me sad that I'm now outside that demographic age range. Thanks for adding "And us". Brought a tear to my eye. I like being included. :banana

Yeah but lets be real. Your hardcore Transformers fans are adults. that 13-19 dont know anything about the Transformers. I remember when there was talk of doing a transformers movies back in the 80's and 90's. It took nearly 20 years to get a transformers movie and all it basically was popcorn movie. :banghead:bangheadIf I wait this long for a movie adaptation I want the BEST movie. It should be top notch actors, the best screenwriters. Bay's version is void of character development. The cartoon interaction between the robots was so much better even the 1986 cartoon version of Transformers the movie had better characterization. There was no hint of the tension between Megatron and Starscream. People it could of been so much better.

Well yes and no. "Hardcore" G1 fans are adults by now, but I'm sure there are younger generations of TF fans who didn't grow up with G1 like you and I did. Some of them might be "hardcore" Beastwar fans or even *gasp* Armada fans. I'm sure they don't see themselves any lesser fan than you and I.

UNICORN PLANET EATER! HELL YEAH! :rock

Its based off toy cars that transform into little robots....which became a tv series about cars....that transform.

It was going to be a popcorn movie no matter how you put it. :lol

She is ridiculously hot!!

She was, still pretty much is, but I need to see her dressed nowadays. I can enjoy subtle tattoos depending on location and content and size, but all the stuff she's got going on, I just find it to have a tainting effect. I couldn't be with a girl that tattooed.
