Wow MJ, LOVE what you did to the Wash sculpt. You have really bloomed as an artist. Nice treatment on the hair and eyes. I'm sure Protozaius will be sending his to you for painting. We were talking about it last night. He was quite anxious to see what you've done. Once again, GREAT JOB.

Painting Trevor's sculpts feels more like restoring old paintings. His sculpts are so full of life and emotinons that it's as if the paint was already there, all I do is remove the grey stuff that covers it.

Got the new belt in for Mal, thanks again for the tip cadaver! It's taking some getting used to, I think I might paint the holster to match soon.

Looks awesome Marf!

I got my gun for Wash today. not sure if I am still gonna use it for him but I thought I would give it a shot. the expression of the sculpt is to happy for a gun totting Wash. not a complaint just an observation.

Got the new belt in for Mal, thanks again for the tip cadaver! It's taking some getting used to, I think I might paint the holster to match soon.

Hey Marf, I also had the two tone effect between belt and holster. I was able to correct it to some extent by rubbing the belt with Ox Blood (Red) shoe polish and rubbing the holster with Brown. I don't know how exact QMx was with their rig, but they show a difference in color between the belt and holster also.

I saw the picture in the Serenity Companion where Wash is carrying a gun, but it just doesn't fit his personality. I ruled the gun out as a possible accessory for Wash. He's always the non-combatant. They did a whole episode of Firefly (War Stories) about it.

Ya but there is also the episode where he goes and saves Mal.(might be the same one) I was thinking of tucking it somewhere.

He uses a king cobra in acouple of episodes. Thought I might as well get one just in case.

I'm trying it out right now and it's kind of giving a crazy vibe with the smile.

Thanks for the advice OG, I'll try that out. You're absolutely right about the QMX rig, I had never really noticed that. Now I'm loving the new belt even more for the doubly added screen accuracy!

That belt is a definite improvement over the Stevo one. That is one great looking Mal!

Hard times are hard times, while I don't wish it on any of our collectors and fellow Freak bretheren I've seen customs that had the same heart and soul poured into them pop up. It appears if that time does occur I'll be racing at least two others for it.
