Great news. I love the show and have high hopes that Triad will do the characters justice.
Samurai warriors mixed with hip hop music, they go together like chocolate and peanut butter, or bounty hunters and jazz music.

Thanks for the link! That custom is amazing. Everything, from the facial expression to the tailoring is first-class. I hope triad can make something even remotely as good.

A good 1:6 Emeraldas is my grail. But I'd want someone like Hot Toys doing those figures, not Triad.

Still, Champloo figures are welcome. Especially since Triad does metal weapons. Maybe they can get the Bebop license too. Or Wolf's Rain...

I don't have any idea what Samurai Champloo is, nor would I want any figures from it, but it's great to see Triad get a major license! (Suck it Soldier Story!)
I hope they get a license to an anime that I like, Ninja Scroll, Akira, and GITS would be great.

If nothing else I think this license may force them to up their game in some respects. Which in the end is a good thing for everyone, no matter if you like this particular license or not. It may also lead to more licensing which is also a good thing

How's this any worse than medicom or HT prices? It's still cheaper and Triad has great quality when comes to accessories and clothing. Not to mention the sculpts look great.

They look alright. If they were cheaper I would be all over them. Maybe even offered without the body, but as a set like they do with their other products.

But at $120, i would rather have had Medi do them.

I really like everything except for the HS. the accessories looks great, the base body looks very fitting for the characters and the outfit looks very decent. NOt to mention the movable eyes are awesome!!! why aren't there more companies doing that? (enterbay has already prove that with movable eyes you can add so much more to a figure, come on, ss, ht, medi!) But I can't get over the HS, which is a deal breaker for me

first off Those dont look 120 the same way some of medicom ^^^^ doesnt look like 150 which is why i dont buy. those bodies look crapy pants and a shirt! Mugen looks like a $80 Max! but thats just me.
