We've been saying that for a while now, and I don't think Sideshow really cares how well their basic bodies are received. Those are Fantastic...Sideshow better pay attention to these...We need bodies like that on Sideshow figures....
Actually I doubt they'll even sell them as costume sets. I think they're just showing examples of what could be done with their basic bodies as to produce these would mean they would need the licenses.LordAzrael said:He can certainly sign me up for the Aeon Flux Charlise Theron and Ultraviolet Milla figures - I just hope they are sold as figures and not just costume sets - unless Louie points us to where he got the head sculpts as well
As for price - his first figure is listed at $US60. The costume sets normally go for about $US40 so it seems reasonable the nudes would sell for about $US20 - which is exceptional value particularly when you compare the female nudes to what is out there. I bet those figures will drive the demand for some of Louie's custom female attire - now you don't have huge gaps in the crotch area from leg articulation!

They all look great! I'm especial interested in a good female body that's cheaper then the Cy Girls, this seems to fit that criteria. I'm now glad I stocked up on Triad costumes.
Darth Callous has out done himself on these figures.

LordAzrael said:Hmm - I disagree. I've seen Louie do the Elektra costume from Daredevil (admittedly split over two different costume sets) and I would consider the fact that Aeon Flux is misspelt (Eon) and that the Ultraviolet Costume is labelled Harley Girl 3.0 (Harley Girl 1.0 & 2.0 are available through Ebay) strong evidence that they will be available - alas without the headsculpt.
captain sack said:the point of these bodies is to have as few visible joints as possible. having the visible neck joints like almost every other body would ruin the effect.
Sachiel said:That sucks. I'd want these for my SSC Star Wars. Too bad SSC didn't use this type for their necks, would have made them more poseable. Maybe Triad could make a version for those types with necks?
JustinLuck said:Captain Sack, I see a very valid reason for using these bodies with clothed SW figures. Jedi Luke, for instance, has very emaciated thighs and huge gaps near his hip joints. His black suit looks very unnatural in this area. The Triad figures don't appear to have this hip and thigh problem.
If I could have it my way, Sideshow would upgrade their own body line to match this quality.
