Got this today through a trade with someone in the UK from this very board. It's such a shame this hasn't made it here (nor does it seem likely it will according to the Disney Store US) as it's one of the best Tron toys I've gotten. I wish I could get the big pull back and go Light Cycle too now that I've seen pics of it!

For one thing, it is IMMENSE. It really puts the Spinmaster one to shame (and I am quite pleased with the Spinmaster line overall, but I didn't get the Reco case as I though it looked ugly.) The shape seems accurate and it feels really nice, thick, and solid. One slight oddity, it lights up and makes sounds (very cool) but it only does so on the screw-hole laden side. The other side is just painted on. This is because on this side there are a ton of panels that open up to hold the many plastic vehicles it comes with. The handle is hidden in the top of the Reco. Another bonus!

The vehicles are pretty nice. Not quite as nice as the diecast Spinmaster vehicles, but cool. Also a fun little bonus, as you know doubt have heard - Light Tanks! I took some close-ups of those as they are really nicely detailed.

I traded this for the Flynn and Rinzler discs and man it was worth it! (Bigger pics are here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/31045631@N00/sets/72157625782171127/

It's called "Recogniser (note British spelling) Carry Case With Vehicles."

Manufacturer is Disney Store UK, with an address in London. So I'm pretty sure this (and the big 12'' Pull back and go Light Cycle that's on the back) were made exclusively for the UK market.

Unfortunately, no, because it says this is part of Series 2 on the packaging, judging by the pics... but it makes me hopeful. So few movie toy lines get a wide release of a Series 2 these days... if they even get a series 2.

I saw some carry-cases like yours online, but none of them mentioned about the light up features and most pics show the handle at the top, but yours hasn't one, is it folded back?

Those are by Spinmaster and are readily available. I'm not a fan so I never bought it. It's not as accurate proportion wise and is made of thinner plastic. Also, the handle is always there on that one. The handle on this one is hidden in the top. Also, it doesnot light up. Hope that helps!

I saw that big 12" Light Cycle on Ebay the other day, but the guy wouldn't ship outside of the UK,
looks amazing as it lights up nicely... here are a couple of pics, from the auction...
